High Performance Sintered Diamond Wire Saw Cable for Construction and Demolition

Product Overview

CAHARD sintered diamond wire saw cable is developed for demanding construction, demolition and infrastructure cutting. The GD series provides different wire configurations for high-strength reinforced concrete, underwater reinforced concrete, and steel or other metal structures encountered in engineering projects.

By selecting the appropriate wire model and operating parameters for the material being cut, users can better match the diamond wire to the actual cutting conditions and project requirements.

Model Selection by Cutting Material

Select the wire model according to the primary material and working condition of the project.

GD-11
High-strength Reinforced Concrete

For high-strength reinforced concrete in buildings, bridges, dams, large pillars and other heavy structural components.

GD-12
Underwater Reinforced Concrete

For underwater reinforced concrete structures in bridge, dam and other civil engineering projects.

GD-13
Steel & Other Metal Structures

For structural steel and metal components encountered in construction and demolition work.

Final model selection should also consider material type, concrete strength and reinforcement level where applicable, structure dimensions, machine configuration and cutting environment.

Technical Specifications

Model Bead Diameter Beads / Meter Fixation Cutting Material Linear Velocity Cutting Rate Cutting Life
GD-11 Φ11.5 / Φ11.0 mm 40 beads/m Rubber + Spring High-strength Reinforced Concrete 22–25 m/s 1–3 m/h 2–4 m²/m
GD-12 Φ11.5 / Φ11.0 mm 40 beads/m Rubber + Spring Underwater Reinforced Concrete 20–23 m/s 1–2 m/h 2–3 m²/m
GD-13 Φ11.5 / Φ11.0 mm 40 beads/m Rubber + Spring Steel Structures and Other Metal Structures 19–21 m/s 0.8–1.5 m/h 0.8–2 m²/m
Actual cutting performance may vary with material composition, reinforcement ratio, machine condition, cooling conditions and operating parameters.

Product Features & Typical Project Uses

Sintered Diamond Beads

Designed for demanding construction and demolition cutting where dense concrete, reinforcement and heavy structural materials create high cutting resistance.

Rubber + Spring Fixation

Rubber + spring fixation provides a flexible bead arrangement suitable for demanding structural cutting applications.

Suitable for Complex Structural Cutting

Diamond wire sawing can work around large or restricted structures where conventional circular saw blades are difficult to apply.

Typical Applications

  • Building and structural demolition
  • High-strength reinforced concrete cutting
  • Bridge and dam structural cutting
  • Concrete pipe and large structural column cutting
  • Underwater reinforced concrete cutting
  • High-speed railway bridge and tunnel projects
  • Steel and other metal structure cutting

Tell Us About Your Cutting Project

Diamond wire selection depends on the material, reinforcement level, structure size, machine configuration and working environment. To help CAHARD recommend a suitable GD-11, GD-12 or GD-13 configuration, please provide the following information when possible.

Information for Product Selection & Quotation

  • Material to be cut
  • Concrete strength and reinforcement level, if applicable
  • Metal type or grade, if applicable
  • Structure dimensions and estimated cutting area
  • Cutting environment and cooling conditions, including underwater cutting if applicable
  • Wire saw machine model and power
  • Preferred wire diameter, if specified
